Python Programming with Harry Potter by Dr. Archna Bhatia, IHMC

The November Science Saturday topic was Python Programming. We learned beginning concepts of the Python language. Hands-on examples from the Harry Potter books were based on the Sorting Hat, well known to Harry Potter fans everywhere. By the end of the lesson, participants were able to modify the sorting hat program and add additional criteria for sorting Hogwarts students into their appropriate houses. Photos by Brooke Heller.
