Balloon Cars by Mr. Adam Dalton, IHMC

The first Science Saturday of the fall season was about Balloon Cars - designing them, building them, and racing them. Students learned to think about design considerations for various types of cars. They built their cars with empty plastic bottles, straws, and balloons. They evaluated performance on a race track set up in IHMC’s lobby. Mr. Adam Dalton, Research Associate at IHMC was the presenter. The current season of Science Saturdays is made possible by contributions from Ron and Phyllis Ewers and Lockheed Martin.
