Research Associate

Taylor joined IHMC in February of 2026 as a research associate in the robotics lab and is currently working on the Alex 002 project while also supporting smaller PCB development efforts and design revisions. In his role, Taylor is focused on advancing reliable, high-performance electrical systems within IHMC’s robotics initiatives.
Taylor earned his bachelor’s in electrical engineering in 2024 where he built a strong foundation in circuit design and embedded systems.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys hiking and exploring nature with his wife, and connecting with friends. He is excited to continue growing, learning, and contributing to robotic electrical development at IHMC.
