Shelby Greene

Research Associate

Shelby L. Greene is a research associate at IHMC working with Dawn Kernagis and Jeff Phillips on various projects involving exercise in extreme environments. She is originally from El Paso, Texas.

She finished her master’s degree in exercise science at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree with a major in kinesiology with a minor in biology and has a focus in general exercise physiology in her Master’s Degree. Her area of research has focused mainly on hydration and heat in exercise performance, exercise metabolism, cognitive fatigue, and hypoxia.

During her free time, she enjoys drawing, reading, playing tennis, and listening to music on her vinyl record player.
