Senior Research Associate

Rita is a research associate at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition working with Dr. Suri.

She received both her B.S. and Masters in Computer Science from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). Both the B.S. and the Masters were focused also on how the Computer Science can be efficiently applied to different science fields like Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Between the B.S and the Masters she studied Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna for one year.

Rita started working for IHMC as an exchange student in 2010 on a project called “Federation”.

Her research interests include all the possible science areas where the computer science can be applied on and her personal interests list music, biking, swimming and reading.
