Mia joined IHMC in May 2023 as an unpaid intern working with Dr. Toshi Miyatsu and the human performance team on A2PEX, VISTa, and STAK projects. She is a student at the University of West Florida, where she is pursuing a degree in exercise science. She volunteers at Medical Center Clinic and PT Solutions in Pensacola.
