John joined IHMC as an unpaid intern in June 2023 and a U.S. Navy flight student at Pensacola Naval Air Station. As an intern, John is working with Dr. Anil Raj and his team on the augmentics project. His bachelor’s degree in engineering is from Villanova University; he is pursuing a master’s degree in engineering at the University of Central Florida. At Villanova, he was a competitive swimmer. He also is an Eagle Scout. Recently he worked with Lockheed Martin as a mechanical design engineer working on the F-35 Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) production program.
