Jajaira received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biology from the University of California Monterey Bay, and in fall 2022, she will begin working toward her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology at the University of California Santa Cruz. During her IHMC internship, Jajaira aided Dr. Toshiya Miyatsu with cognitive testing and natural language processing tasks for both the PEERLESS and DARPA LEAP projects. Outside of work and school, Jajaira enjoys painting, doing puzzles, and playing with Roma, her pet cat.
