Carlos Gonzalez
Research Associate
Carlos Gonzalez earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Subsequently, he spent two years as a research assistant in the Mechanical Engineering department at the New York University and in 2018 he joined the Dynamic Legged Systems Lab at IIT in Genoa, where he worked on a balance controller for the quadruped robot HyQ. He is currently interested in safe and robust locomotion strategies and planning algorithms for biped systems. Carlos is joining the Robotics Lab, developing legged robot control algorithms with Robert Griffin, Sylvain Bertrand, and Jerry Pratt.
