Research Associate

Katherine joined IHMC in October 2023 as research associate working with Dr. Zach Graham and Kana Meece and their team on human performance research. Katherine joins the team from her previous positions involving clinical diagnostics where she was a licensed Molecular Technologist through the Florida Board of Health and certified by ASCP.

Although, Katherine soon realized that research was her passion, especially research involving physiology, immunology, and genetics. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Genomics and Molecular Genetics with a minor in Psychology from The Florida Institute of Technology, where she graduated in 2022.

She is eager to learn and expand her knowledge with the Human Resilience and Performance team here in Pensacola, where she is currently a part of the M3AX project.

Outside of work she loves reading, being outside, gardening, running, lifting, yoga, reiki, and espresso.
