IHMC is currently seeking a skilled Unity developer to work with our virtual reality research team.

We are seeking a talented and creative Unity Game Developer to work with our team researching virtual and augmented reality. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in Unity Development technologies, strong programming and coding skills. Applicants must be capable of functioning in both a tight-knit team and independently for extended periods of time.
- Familiar with C#
- 3 years experience with Unity 3D/Content Development
- Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials etc)
- Experience profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain quality control
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work in the United States (US Citizen or Green Card)
- Work on site in Pensacola FL
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Experience with real-time networked gaming
- Experience with 3D modeling and textures
- Experience writing custom shaders
