Chief Operations Officer
Rob Bollinger (COL, USA, Ret) is the Chief Operating Officer at IHMC. Following a 26-year career as an Airborne Ranger & Special Forces Officer, Rob joined IHMC in the Fall of 2017. Rob recently served as the Assessment Director for ground combat systems in the United States Special Operations Command, Resourcing Directorate. During his tenure, there Rob advised the Commander on 21 programs within a $13 billion portfolio. Prior to that Rob served as the Director for Operations in the Combined Joint Interagency Task Force – Syria where he synchronized efforts to train & equip moderate Syrians in their struggle against ISIS. Over his 25 years of service Rob has spent nine years in command leading diverse organizations of 12-1000 personnel, often in the most complex and volatile environments imaginable. Rob’s leadership has consistently been recognized for success in project management, strategic planning, and policy development. Rob has Masters degrees in Strategic planning and organizational leadership from both the School of Advanced Military Studies & the U.S. Army War College.
