Hyuckchul Jung

I am a research scientist at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC), a research institute of the Florida University System. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California under the supervision of Prof. Milind Tambe.

My research interests and experience are in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent User-Interfaces with a particular focus on task learning, mixed-initiative interaction, decision theoretic reasoning, human-robot coordination, and multi-agent collaboration. More about my research can be found here.

For my research and personal life, I receive guidance and motivation from the words of wisdom from the greats of the past:

Out of intense complexities emerge intense simplicities. - Winston Churchill

Even the smallest one can change the course of the future. - J.R.R. Tolkien in "The Lord of the Rings"
