RESEARCH ASSOCIATE – IHMC Pensacola seeks a Research Associate to support activities in cognitive science, intelligent data analysis, Human Factors and Robotics interaction. The applicant will be developing a simulator to aid in the determination of metrics for measuring cognitive workload, activity & arousal during physiological readings, a tactile interface design, and writing programs using Java, Java 3D, C++ and Matlab. This position requires a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science (foreign equivalent acceptable), one year computer science or computer engineering work experience in the design & development of tactile user interfaces and advanced user level experience with Mac OS and Windows.
