
Assistant Director for Community Relations for IHMC Ocala
Before moving to Ocala in 1993, Ann enjoyed 20 years in the business world in the field of sales, marketing and customer service in Cleveland, Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate from Bowling Green State University and holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts. Her husband John, owns and operates Visiting Angels in Marion County and their two grown daughters currently reside in Ft. Meyers, FL and Kansas City, MO.
In 1994, Ann joined the Ocala/Marion County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) where she served as Vice President of Corporate Relations for the past 17 years.
Her role was instrumental as part of the EDC team which assisted 129 companies with relocations or expansions to create over 11,000 new jobs with nearly $438 million in capital investment for this community.
Ann currently serves as a director on the Junior Achievement Board and a member of the Tourism Development Council Marketing Committee. She also served as co-chair for the Marion Technical Institute (MTI) Task Force for six years and remains a Past President of the Ocala Women’s Network. She is a graduate of Leadership Ocala – Class Frazier and the recipient of the coveted Jayne Mansfield Award for outstanding dedication to leadership and community service.
